What We’re Building: Jen’s Week In Review
Greetings! In case you’ve been holed up in your office all day (like me), it is GORGEOUS outside. In typical DC Metro area fashion, we’ve gone from winter to summer. Literally. The boys started baseball last weekend and it was snowing (SNOWING!) at the opening day parade. But you know who wasn’t bothered by it? These cute little guys…
NDI is sponsoring their tee-ball team this year which so fun!
I love these kids!
We’ve pretty much been consumed with baseball this week – trying to get into the swing of things with both of our boys playing on separate teams. The biggest conundrum – dinners! We’re used to eating as a family but with this schedule, we’re not eating until after 7 PM. Do you have kids in sports? What do you do? Drop me an email (landersj@newdimensionsinc.com) and tell me your secrets!
Latest Settlement
I attended a settlement last Friday afternoon and it was so fun! This couple was a hoot and their Chesterbrook Traditional turned out so pretty!
Want to hear something funny? They didn’t tell their adult children they were building the house. They were planning to tell them the day after settlement. Surprise!
Congratulations “N” Family! Best to you both!
New Start!
We’re getting ready to start a Waverly Model in Falls Church.
This first floor master plan is so wonderfully laid out! Here are some photos from a Waverly Model we built in the Town of Vienna.
This will be the 3rd project we have going on in Pimmit Hills right now – that’s on top of the 3 homes we’ve already completed this year in Pimmit. It is hard to drive down a street in that neighborhood without seeing a home we’ve built – we’ve even nicknamed it NDI Hills – HA!
On The Blog This Week
We’ve released our newest home design! It’s called the Hillwood Model and you can get all deets HERE! We broke ground on the first Hillwood Model this week as our next spec home. I’m working on finalizing all of the finishes and design elements we plan to include. I love designing our spec homes but it is a lot of pressure! Trying to balance the investment (since we will end up selling it) and wanting to show all of you the latest and greatest design trends. Sometimes I feel like my head is about to explode with all of the decisions.
Can you relate?
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you can get out and enjoy this beautiful weather – you will find me on the ball field!
