The 12 Days of Christmas Trees Recap!

The 12 Days of Christmas Trees Recap!

Merry Christmas! I hope this finds you well and enjoying your Christmas Day! Our family typically travels to visit family on Christmas Day, but for the first time since 2018, we are home!

Thanks to everyone who has been following along our 12 Days of Christmas Trees where we spotlight pictures of Christmas trees in an NDI home. This is always a fun series to do because it we get to connect with our awesome clients and get a peek inside their beautiful NDI homes. What could be better!

In case you missed it, here is a recap of our 12 Days of Christmas Trees!

Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 1 belongs to this beautiful McLean Hamlet Model we finished earlier this year. What a fun project this was!

We especially loved the way the client customized the layout of this home – this nook is spacious and beautiful!

Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 2 belongs to this Addison Model we completed this past spring.

You might be saying to yourself, “I’ve never heard of the Addison Model”. Well, this is the first of its kind!

And it won’t be the last. We just signed a contract with a lovely family earlier this month to build the 2nd Addison Model. If you are looking for a cozy and functional design, the Addison Model might just be the design for you!

Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 3 goes to this beautiful Nottingham Model we built last year. I love this design for many reasons (mainly because I live in a Nottingham!), but this particular Nottingham is a favorite because of the alternate elevation we used.

The thing about the Nottingham Model is that it easily adapts to life right along with you. I built my home 16 years ago and we have used every square inch of our home. I still love it, all these years later.

Day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 4 belongs to this picture perfect Chesterbrook Craftsman Model we built several years in Mount Vernon. They don’t put up a main Christmas tree, but they do a beautiful job decorating inside and out!

We had an opportunity to see them recently when we installed a wet bar for them (Yes! We will come back and do finish work for our clients!).

Every time I had an opportunity to see them, it felt like I was visiting friends. Such fantastic people.

And their home is cozy and welcoming, and so beautiful!

Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 5 has a special place in my heart. We built a beautiful Langley Model for a family several years ago (and then later for her parents). We had the pleasure of recently reconnecting with this awesome family to build a 3rd NDI home (this time for her sister)!

Day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 6 belongs to this stunning Greenhill Model built for the parents of the client we profiled on Day 6. All of our projects are fun, but they are especially meaningful when we build for multiple family members!

Gorgeous! It has been so fun working and getting to know this sweet family. And we aren’t done building homes for them quite yet…

Day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 7 belongs to a Chesterbrook Craftsman Model we just finished in October on a beautiful street in Sleepy Hollow. This was such a fun project because they were referred to us by the client we showcased on Day 5, and while I had not met them prior to working with them, we have so many mutual friends. It became quite comical – we even go to the same nail salon!

Day 8 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

The 8th day belongs to another beautiful Greenhill Model completed this year.

It is no wonder this has become one of our most beloved designs. It is one level living at it’s best!

Day 9 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 9 belongs to a project we completed back in 2016 for a friend of mine from middle school! We built a Yancy Model for them which they still live in today.

They love to entertain family and friends, so their kitchen was an important space for them.

    Light, airy, functional, and pretty!

Day 10 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 10 belongs to a beautiful McLean Hamlet Model we finished in July of this year. This project was special to me because we built for another friend of mine from middle school (who is also best friends with the client spotlighted in Day 9!).

I have to tell you, referrals are so meaningful to us. Especially when we have a personal connection. It is such an awesome feeling to be trusted with such an important investment. I seriously love my job!

Day 11 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 11 belongs to my baby brother, Adam, also known as NDI’s VP of Operations. We built a Berkshire Model for him and his family in 2010. It’s so hard to believe that was over 14 years ago!

They live about a mile away from us. Our kids go to the same schools, and we get to hangout often. Being so close to family is one of the biggest blessings in my life!

Day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas Trees

Day 12 belongs to my family! We built our Nottingham Model in 2008, and we still adore our home. It was the first Nottingham Model ever built! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The one thing I love about our home is that it has adapted to our changing family every step of the way.

    Speaking of…

Meet Bentley! He’s 10 weeks, crazy, and we are totally in love. Paul and I haven’t raised a puppy since 1997, so please pray for us!

Thank you for following along during these 12 Days of Christmas Trees. It’s always fun to connect with clients in this way.

Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
