Client Q & A: The Vienna Model with the G Family
We have another Client Q&A for you today. I met the “G” family at one of our open houses, and I was so excited when they told us they were going to build with NDI! We asked them to answer a few questions for us about their experience building a custom home and some of their favorite features.
Q.Why did you decide to build with NDI?
A: Gut feeling. I know that sounds crazy when making a big decision like building a house, but we shopped around with a few different builders and when speaking with NDI it just felt right. I truly felt they were genuinely interested in doing what was right for my family. I didn’t feel like they were selling to me. Renee and Jennifer were absolutely wonderful to work with, and I felt no pressure from them. They really only wanted what was best for us. I honestly cannot thank NDI enough everything they have done for us during this experience. I know they built us a home, but I feel like we built a friendship too. I HIGHLY recommend them!
Q: What model did you pick and why?
A: The Vienna, and we love it! I loved the kitchen layout and felt it was the best fit for our family. I wanted a large open kitchen that was conducive for hosting events and the Vienna is perfect for that. I also love how the kitchen flows right into the eating area and family room.
Q: If you could give one piece of advice to someone considering a new build, what would it be?
A: Patience. This experience was very stressful and not because of NDI. The county, site contractor, and the utility companies were sometimes very frustrating to work with. However, NDI (Dawn and Dennis especially!) were beyond helpful and did everything they could to help move the process along.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about your new home?
A: Kitchen! However, believe it or not my laundry room is my second favorite! I LOVE having space to clean, fold, iron. The best decision we made was to move it upstairs and add the extra sink. We have small children and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to scrub clothes in that sink before washing them! I’d also love to add the mud room for favorite things because of the ability to drop all of our family’s stuff in one room. 🙂
Q: What was the most challenging selection to make and why?
A: Bathroom tiles! God Bless Shelly with NDI. I think I was there for 4+ hours choosing bathroom sinks and tile. She was incredible, helpful, and patience!
Thank you “G” family for sharing with us today! Your home looks just gorgeous (I LOVE THE POT-FILLER!). Wishing you so much happiness!
